Hello all,
Marco has kindly built us a horn rotor for the treble speaker. It is unlike any rotor from leslie; instead of having two, with one dummy, it has only one, that is very short, with a counterweight on its side.
Here are some photos of the beginning and the end.

Power input
Hello all,
We've just finished building the power input to the Leslie, that will work similar to a vacuum cleaner (you pull as much cable out as is needed). We have also dismantled the audio system for our Leslie, but unfortunately, the power button broke in the process.
Also, we finished building the bass rotor which will be used in our Leslie.
Best,
Chris M.

Motor System
Hello all,
We have discovered exactly how the motors of the Leslie work.
The motor is either on or off, spinning fast when it is on (440rpm).
In order to spin it at Slow speed, a metal pin of about 1.5cm in diameter is dropped onto a rubber lined disc that is on the motor. This creates rotational friction that slows the motor down to 45rpm.
We are going to use a different system, made up of gears in order to spin our Leslie.

Chris M.
